For years, I’ve found myself using Slishman Pressure Wraps for things that have absolutely nothing to do with medicine. One of my favorites was towing my kids on their mountain bikes. The elastic worked great. The Velcro hooks? Not so much.

So my family and I decided to make a simple, nonmedical strap specifically for all those other jobs.

The result is the Slishman Strap. It uses the same width and elasticity as the Slishman Pressure Wrap, but it’s shorter, a little lighter, bright yellow and has integrated loops at both ends—with no Velcro hooks at all.

I’ve always liked simple, multi-use things: rubber bands, bungee cords, zip ties, duct tape. Things you keep around because you never quite know what you’re going to need them for.

Tow a bike. Drag a kayak. Tie tubes together on a river trip. Bundle skis. String up a tarp. Carry firewood. Or use one to hold your pants up when the button pops.

You’ll probably come up with uses we haven’t thought of yet.
